How Women Deal With Stress

First of all, there are many things that can cause stress, such as job pressures, family crises, and worrying of money. Stress not only affects your mood but also on your physical health. However, men and women tend to react differently to stress and deal with stress in different ways. In this article, I’ll talk about how women deal with stress when they are stressed out.

If you are a woman, you are more likely than men to experience stress-related problems such as panic, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, severe depression, migraine, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, autoimmune diseases and chronic pain. In fact, women are more stressed than men. According to survey, around 37% of women say that they feel stressed out, while men are only 31%. There are some stress symptoms in women, such as sleeping difficulties, anger, negative thinking, poor concentration in work, and family problems. 
For how women deal with stress, the more common ways are sufficient amount of sleep at night which is 7 to 9 hours, strive to maintain loving relationships, keep in touch with friends, and do walking or other exercises. Besides those, practice relaxation techniques are recommended such as yoga, meditation, and listening to relaxing music. Compared with men, women tend to connect with others in activities, including spending time with family and friends and going to church. Besides, when you are stressed out, doctors recommend doing things such as exercising, eating a healthy diet such as following the Mediterranean diet, keeping yourself happy always, and reducing excess caffeine intake. On the other hand, if you have questions about how to deal with stress, you can consult your doctor, especially if your stress causes you physical or mental harm. So that your doctor can work with you to develop a stress management plan that will benefit your overall health. There are some other helpful hints to deal with stress for women.

The first helpful hint is to face change, which means accepting change is a challenge and an opportunity, not a threat

Focus on the present
The second helpful hint is to focus on the present, which is to stay in the present because worrying about the future will not help.

Seek help

since we not perfect, so we should ask for help from family and friends.

 The final helpful hint is to always think positive because an optimistic view will bring good health and social benefits

To sum up, women are more stressed than men. So some stress symptoms in women include sleeping difficulties, anger, and poor concentration in work. However, stress can be dealt in many ways such as having enough sleep at night, doing exercises, seeking help from family and friends, and always have a positive thinking. If stress is dealt, then you will be able to have a healthy body.
